Coke Chamber Replacement & Allied Modernization in Coker-A Unit at Barauni Refinery
IndianOil is the largest refiner in India and counts whit 11 refineries with 80.7 MMTPA capacity, playing a significant role in fuelling the development of the country.
In order to improve productivity and profitability of its Barauni refinery, IndianOil performed the coke chamber replacement and allied modernization of the plant. In this project, TAIM WESER was selected to supply a coker bridge bucket crane with 11 tons of capacity for handling petroleum coke at the Delayed Coking Unit (DCU) of the refinery.
The Challenge Achieved
TAIM WESER supplied a specially tailored petroleum coke handling crane, properly designed to work in highly aggressive environment and explosive atmosphere and with the aim of ensuring a fast productivity, continuous work operation and high availability required by a refinery.
