CTR Valles Occidental waste treatment plant
The Valles Occidental waste treatment plant covers 43,900 m2, with a gross floor area of 37,128 m2 and a municipal waste treatment capacity of 254,000 ton/year, and 40,000 ton/year of organic fraction from Municipal Solid Wast (MSW).
In this project, TAIM WESER was selected for supply of a Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) organic fraction treatment and composting plant, which included two automatic infeed systems, two automatic stack turning machines, a discharge system, an aeration system, as well as assembly and commissioning of the installation.
The Challenge Achieved
The TAIM WESER installation consists of a Mechanical-Biological Treatment (MBT) plant for the composting of the organic fraction of the MSW, with 154.000 ton of capacity per year. The waste is stabilized by fully automated trapezoidal stack turning systems in two enclosed fermentation halls with a process aeration system, an infeed system and stack turning machines. The final product is suitable for landscaping or gardening and meets European Standards.
