TAIM WESER S.A. signed recently a contract for the design, manufacture and supply of two semi-gantry bucket cranes for petroleum coke handling, to be installed at the Delayed Coker Unit of Duqm Refinery in Oman.
The Duqm Refinery project, a 50/50 joint venture between Oman Oil Company and Kuwait Petroleum International, is a development that will synergize the area of Duqm and make it a viable and strategic energy hub in the region.
This new project will reinforce the presence of TAIM WESER in the Oil & Gas industry, in which the spanish company supplies fully integrated systems for handling petroleum coke and sulphur at refineries, providing their customers with a technological solution from a single supplier, all the way from the output of the material from the production area to its final dispatch. TAIM WESER supplies as well the entire in-house petroleum coke and sulphur conveying, storage and handling systems, thus freeing their customers of error and delay prone complex interfaces.
